There are many different life choices that you can make in a lifetime. I was in the midst of making the second largest decision I could make, buying a new car! Seems the salesperson did their job! I had been educated on my options of what my new vehicle would have. Bells and whistles – I would call it! Thankfully, I asked a member of the Canadian Consumer Consultants to look over my agreement before I signed on the dotted line. To my surprise, I was going to pay three times the amount that I expected, only because I was going to rollover outstanding money from two previous vehicles. Not aware that this had transpired with no genuine concern for what I was about to do (I was very ill informed)! My representative gave me all the facts in plain English. This is why the price is so high, he was able to get my warranty information and convey that information in order for me to better understand my situation. Without my professional advocate – I would have made a very bad decision. I cannot state how important it is to use the resources that are available! Canadian Consumer Consultants were there for me. They spelled it out, they have the experience, background and the know-how! They are very aware of the “dealership” tactics that go on. A vehicle is potentially, the second biggest purchase (house being # 1) you will make in your life, why are people so complacent to this arena. I know that you may have a family member who purchased a vehicle from “that” dealership and they will give me a deal! This is not always a good approach!
